Information about video surveillance Aspen's office in Hindås, Sweden.

Introduction and contact information

Our courtyard and some production machines in Hindås are equipped with video surveillance. Video surveillance systems positioning can be identified through signage in connection to the premises. The purpose of this document is to provide you with more detailed information about our video surveillance.

Lantmännen Aspen AB ("Aspen") org no. 556329-9519, Iberovägen 2, 438 54 Hindås, is responsible for the surveillance and acts as the data controller.  If you have any questions concerning our video surveillance, please contact us via e-mail: dataskyddsombud@lantmannen.com.

Detailed description of the video surveillance

Through a fixed video surveillance system, we collect and process personal data such as video recording attributable to Lantmännen's staff, consultants, suppliers (employees) and other visitors to the premises.

The primary purpose of the video surveillance is to:

  • Ensure safety and increase security for staff, consultants, suppliers (employees) and visitors,
  • Prevent and deter the risk of unauthorized physical access, crime, interruptions and disturbances to the property and premises,
  • Quickly assess the appropriate action in the event of an alarm.
  • Monitor the production environment to ensure operational safety and working environment
  • Act quickly in the event of alarms or accidents and facilitate evacuations for the security company or fire and rescue services as well as,
  • Enable remote control of goods reception.

Legal ground and disclosure of video footage

Aspen  has a legitimate interest in protecting our properties and premises, which primarily has its background in creating greater safety, in counteracting crime, avoid disorderly conduct and assessing the appropriate action when alarms are activated. We also have a legitimate interest in monitoring certain production machines to ensure operational safety and to enable remote control of goods receptions. Our conclusion is that Aspen's interests cannot be achieved by less privacy sensitive means and that our reasons as described above outweighs the individual's interest of not being recorded.

To minimize the risk of breach of personal integrity, we have implemented technical and organizational security measures to protect surveillance footage from unauthorised access, modification, distribution or destruction. Furthermore we guarantee that only a handful of people have access to the surveillance material.

Beyond the limited group of employees at Aspen, persons being granted access to the video footage are the ones who supports us in the surveillance (e.g. security companies and IT suppliers who store surveillance footage)
